Co-Founder/ Marketing Communications

Norma is responsible for business development, strategic planning & management, implementation of strategic solutions and marketing communications.

With collectively over 20 years of experience in retail, sales & marketing, business development & management, education and training mainly gained while in multi-national corporations (MNC). This is evident from her professional experiences and current achievement as co-founder of Enterprising Mums United, garnered 13 pop-up retails and several events to date bringing like- minded individuals together through its platform since set-up last September (2016).

She is fully committed and passionate in whatever she does especially helping others in need. She can express and response to wide range of emotions in herself and others; motivate others to produce their best work; serving and assisting people on a one-to-one basis. Possessing the ability to communicate with others and readily understand people’s needs; provides her the insight to solve conflicts and misunderstanding. A negotiator and can be trusted to see that both sides are eventually satisfied with the proposed solutions.

She is compassionated in nature and acquires the understanding of interpersonal dynamics. She always looks at the world with fresh perspective which motivates her for starting a social enterprise which she finds to be purposeful, meaningful and a way for her to give back to the community and hope to be an agent of social change.

Norfazilah Abdul Rashid

Co-Founder/ Advisor

Norfazilah is responsible for the operation and finance of EMU, also an advisor to ensure growth and sustainability of the business.

She is currently employed full-time in a private Firm where she has gained vast experience in Project Administration, over a span of more than 20 years.

She founded SWL’s Selections (SWL) in 2012, an online store selling shawls and accessories. Her experience in online selling has brought SWL further to be appointed agents for various apparels in the region and internationally. SWL subsequently launched their own collection and has made it on their 1st fashion runway recently at Festival for Good.

Norfazilah further co-founded Enterprising Mums United LLP (EMU) in 2016, a business and marketing consultancy Firm which aims to guide single mums and stay at home mums to enhance and develop their small businesses. Apart from mentoring, EMU occasionally will organize and select events to showcase these mumpreneur’s products. This is also an avenue for them other than gaining experience in retailing their product but also a platform to get-together, motivating and empowering each other.
